The Barons are an intriguing team, led by senior Leigha Brown. She is committed to University of Nebraska and is the motor for this team. She averages 27.5 points 11.6 rebounds and 4.9 assists a game. She has put up countless double-doubles and two triple-doubles this season even with a few missed games on the season. Basically don’t let her succeed, make others on the team make shots. The last time these two teams faced off it was a 76-16 victory for the Chargers. The Chargers ran away with that one early but the Barons were without Brown as she was dealing with injury. This could be different with Brown in the game.

Prediction 68-45 Carroll

As long as the Chargers limit Brown’s scoring and make another Baron beat them, they should win this one easily. The Chargers depth as we have seen all season will just be to much to handle. Look for the Chargers to move on to their second straight sectional final appearance to face the winner of North Side/Northrop semifinal.
