Homecoming 2021

September 15, 2021

Student Council students were hard at work the last couple of weeks to plan and execute the past weeks homecoming festivities. Decorating, dress up days, and assembling the homecoming court.

With the events of the past year, homecoming was practically non-existent. This year, the student council had hopes of writing a different story.

“In planning this event, the student council tried to make it bigger than in previous years. For many of the seniors on the council we just wanted one last big celebration” Senior and student council vice president Tori Noble said.

And that they did. With the aid of it being only the second game in our beloved new stadium, students excitement was already high. The events planned by the student council only added to further boost school spirit.

“We planned the tailgate, homecoming court, and the dress up days. When planning these basic functions of homecoming we really wanted to capture the Charger spirit that has been missing from Carroll High School” Tori Noble said.

And that they did. Participation was high and so was the school spirit all building up to close with our win against the Northrop Bruins.

In announcing homecoming royalty, as it had been changed from pervious years to be more inclusive, the winners were an easy fan favorite. Gavin Watkins and Maddux Gremaux.

With winners on the field and winners on the court, 2021 homecoming came to a close, and a rather successful one at that.
