Marching band takes a magical spring break trip

April 25, 2022

After a successful season, the Carroll Pride marching band and color guards took a well-deserved trip to Orlando to feel the magic at Walt Disney World and enjoy the warm atmosphere over spring break. Although their season came to a close last fall, they were far from done celebrating.

Junior Haley Reder enjoyed the spring break trip, from the beach to the “happiest place on earth”. Reasonably, she did not want to come back home.

“It was really fun but also exhausting,” Reder said. “It took about 23 hours to get to Daytona beach, which was kind of a miserable bus ride, not gonna lie.”

Reder went on to talk about her favorite part of the trip, the rides. She said the rides at Disney made her entire trip so much better.

“The best part was going on all the rides in the Disney parks,” Reder said. “I went on a lot I had never been before.”

The trip consisted of going to Florida at Daytona Beach, where they spent a few nights enjoying the sun and warm weather, all the way to a trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando, where they stayed for the remainder of their trip.

As a top-placing marching band and color guard, they totally deserved their spring break trip, and couldn’t have enjoyed it more.
