Arianna Bixby, Staff Reporter

Arianna Bixby is a junior here at Carroll and while this is the first time on Carroll’s newspaper, Arianna has spent years writing stories and interviewing people. Arianna realized her passion for writing when she entered sixth grade but she didn’t really explore it until she entered eighth grade. She also loves to share the passion with her family as well. Out of six brothers, two of them share the same drive towards writing as her. It makes her happy to see their faces light up once they get an idea, and or when they start writing about something they love. Arianna wants a career as a nurse, pediatric oncologist to be more specific. She is a babysitter for 4 different families, and loves working and playing with the kids. Although she wants to pursue a career in the medical field, she also wants to pursue her passion for writing. She has decided this year to get over the fear of other people reading her work and submit some into the Arts and Scholastic competition this year. She also enjoys music and dancing and would like to find a way to incorporate that into her writing. She is really excited to see what this year brings.
