Brave the Bitter Cold and Forge a New Destiny in a Stunningly Harsh World

Survival, Strategy, and Stunning Graphics Await in the Ultimate Sequel to Frostpunk

It is a game placed in a harsher, colder world where the pursuit of oil becomes the new hope and conflict for survival. With this new sequel, you are placed 10 years into the future from when the previous game was based, Frostpunk. So, let’s start chipping away at the hard ice block that is Frostpunk 2.

This game is a sequel, so it is a massive step up from its predecessor, as it should be. Not only does it stick you in a harsh environment with breathtaking graphics, but it forces you to start on a limb with some assistance. After a while, you will be on your own, so be prepared.

Continuing with that, the storyline and plot are amazing. The characters adapt to how their newfound leader is doing when it comes to decision-making and managing them and their resources, though if they fail to meet standards, they may very well die because of their negligence.

Not only do you have to keep people alive but your relations with the people as more people join the harder it gets, but not only that you have to also deal with factions. If one recommends an idea some may like it while some dislike it.

However, make sure neither get too unhappy cause bad things could happen. But to add on the government may argue as well. With their decisions weighing down on you, will you be able to make it to the next day? Or die trying to make life better.

But the survival and political systems aren’t the only things to enjoy in this game.

The graphics are amazing, they show everything from the snow flurries to the reflections of the long-abandoned buildings and machines. Along with the graphics, the quality of the character art is outstanding, showing almost true details of a real-life person as if you’re living in that game at the moment.

Leading from plot, story, character, and graphics, you expect to have a balanced gameplay system. Mainly because when building stuff the resources are balanced, meaning that the cost to build or make something is fair to what you get.

For example, if you build a rail line you should expect to pay more compared to building a road. But with that, the cost of building items is balanced, with more advanced buildings costing more than one counterpart or another building.

Most of the game isn’t made up of only amazing graphics and a plot that is well thought out but it has other amazing qualities that should be minded.

Frostpunk 2 is for you, if what you enjoy is fighting the cold for your people while taking in the breathtaking graphics, though don’t forget to play the original game Frostpunk while you’re at it.
