Entering the doors of a big building, scary but refreshing. Starting a new year was and still is nice, though I just moved from Ohio. So not only a fresh start, but no friends, so I decided to start with that.
My first class was Charger Online, the very class that allows me to write newspaper articles like these. It was eventful learning the ropes and how to operate the story writing process, and by that, I mean how to add our stories to the site itself.
After the first few periods 2nd being Algebra 1 then 3rd being study hall but later turning into a Student Assistant later in the year, then lunch. That was fun, trying to find a place to sit that wasn’t too packed nor was the wrong crowd of people who probably wouldn’t like me.
In the end I found these 2 guys they were sitting at opposite ends of the table but that just gave me room to make them friends not only with me but each other. After I convinced them both to move down to the end of the table with me, we began talking about our day and classes and we found out we had not only 4th period together but also 5th period.
After lunch we all walked together to the 4th period classroom in which we found out that a teacher hadn’t been assigned yet after the previous had quit so we had a sub, and that period was fun. Playing board games and just sitting around wasn’t expected but it was better than doing work, so it was a break from the rest of the day.
But to switch it quickly here is a story from Thursday about a mistake that was accidental.
But of course, the fun eventually comes to a sad end and the next class was PE, but the other two guys left me behind, so I didn’t know where to go but I found it. But I saw everyone was going to lunch and since I had A usually, I went in got lunch when I had lunch last or C lunch.
In the end I did make it there after explaining myself and why I was late. Mrs. Irons continued explaining the class and how things would work for the rest of the semester.
Then the week was finished off with not my favorite but not my least, English Arts. I also don’t remember what we really did there in the beginning either, but it was maybe related to English or just the teacher explains class rules like the others.
The first week of freshmen year was fun and amazing, but the time has come for me to leave the building which made me happy and sad. Either way that was my freshman year, if you want comment how yours was.
