10 Movies to Watch This Summer!

1. Avengers: Infinity War
For any fan of superhero movies Avengers: Infinity War is the Mecca. 18 movies over a 10 year span has been leading to this movie. Infinity War will include Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, Black Panther, Hulk, among many others; and will introduce Josh Brolin as Thanos. Avengers: Infinity War will be released to theaters April 27th.
2. Untitled Deadpool Sequel
Another anticipated Marvel movie. The sequel to Deadpool, this movie comes after the first movie became a surprise hit. Destined to achieve the same level of comedic genius, Deadpool, along with his rag-tag team of Cable, Domino, Colossus, and more, is a must-see. Releasing nationwide May 18.
3. Solo: A Star Wars Story
Solo will be the second ever stand-alone Star Wars film. It will follow the life of Han Solo before he met Luke Skywalker. Donald Glover, aka Childish Gambino, will star as Lando Calrissian. Anybody who has interest in the Star Wars films will have to see this, coming to theaters May 25.
4. Oceans 8
Oceans 8 is a spin-off from the the 2001 hit Oceans 11. Follow the all-star cast of Sandra Bullock, Anne Hathaway, Rihanna, Mindy Kaling, and more, as they plan to steal a valuable necklace. Coming to theaters June 8.
5. Incredibles 2
Millennials have finally gotten their wish for a sequel to The Incredibles. The beginning starts at the end of the first movie and features Mr. Incredible as a stay-at-home dad as his wife tries to save the world. This movie comes out June 15.
6. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom
Another film in the Jurassic Park series and sequel to Jurassic World. Filmed in Hawaii, the park crew comes back for the dinosaurs and end up getting into trouble. Releasing June 22.
7. Uncle Drew
Kyrie Irving reprises his role as Uncle Drew in this comedy. Uncle Drew and his elderly friends (Shaquille O’Neal, Reggie Miller, among others) compete against younger folk to win a basketball tournament. Coming June 29.
8. The First Purge
The First Purge is prequel to The Purge. This is about the first ever purge where the country turns to complete anarchy for a 24 hour period. Gerard McMurray directs this thriller. Coming July 4, Independence Day.
9. Disney’s Christopher Robin
Winnie the Pooh is back in this fun-for-the-family movie. Christopher Robin, Ewan McGregor, returns to the hundred acre woods to find Winnie the Pooh and to rediscover himself. Releasing August 3.
10. The Meg
The Meg entertains the idea that the Megalodon is back from extinction. The largest shark to ever swim the oceans wreaks havoc on the world as a team of scientists try to stop it. This movie stars Rainn Wilson, Jason Statham, and Ruby Rose. Coming August 10.
