Eyes of Carroll- Grayson Yarborough

Madalyn Slone, Staff Reporter

I was going to drop out of high school, actually. But my sophomore year I joined culinary and it made school better. I decided that there was something I could actually do for my future. Regular school is a lot of classroom work, but with culinary, it is more hands on while not being an art class like drawing. Sitting at a desk and staring at a computer all day is not my cup of tea. I can’t just sit here for hours. I want to be doing something. It’s also a lot of scholarship money, and it counts towards art and elective credits in college.
