After a big shutout victory against the Homestead Spartans, the Carroll Chargers look to stay red hot against the Warsaw Tigers.
After a tough week one performance against Bishop Luers the Chargers have bounced back and rattled off 9 straight wins.
Coming off of a close loss to Concord, Warsaw finished their regular season campaign a solid 7-2.
Warsaw plays a distinct style of football, hard-nosed ground and pound. Look for lots of power runs.
The Chargers are very familiar with the Tigers, as the Warsaw run game thrashed the Carroll defense last year.
This is a whole different year, however, as Carroll’s defense has had a renaissance behind leaders Dylan Bennett and Ethan Beaupre.
At home again expect the same energy from these Chargers, who look to take a sectional title home for the first time since 2014.

While the Chargers are favored, they are coming off of a hard fought victory that resulted in some injuries and overall fatigue.
Meanwhile, Warsaw should be ready and rested, with Friday being the Tigers first game in three weeks.
The real question for the Tigers will be, are they ready and rested, or will they come out rusty?
The Winner of this game will have a tough challenge, travel south to Indianapolis and take on one of two giants, Westfield or Hamilton Southeastern, who are 9-1 and 8-2 respectively.
Fort Wayne teams have historically had trouble in 6A regionals, having to travel to Indy.
In a season filled with massive games, this week will rival all the others, and the Chargers will feel it. Will they thrive under pressure or will they crumble?
