After finishing the regular and postseason with a perfect record and program best, the football team is headed to the 6A State Championship game. This season set a variety of new team records and various other new feats in the Fort Wayne area.

Following the passing of Senior Quarterback, Owen Scheele, the team dug deep and found a new-found passion and reason to succeed. By doing so, the football team proceeded to beat teams such as the Penn Kingsmen, Warsaw Tigers, Lafayette Jefferson Bronchos, and Hamilton Southeastern Royals.

As mentioned, this season has been a season of firsts. Such as the team’s very first Regional and Semi-State victories. Another one being Head Coach, Douglas Dinan becoming the winningest coach in Carroll Football history. With this season of firsts, the football team emerged victorious and appeared almost untouchable.

They will play Center Grove this Friday at Lucas Oil Stadium at 7 p.m. To support the team you can get tickets now for $23 or at the stadium for $15 on Friday. Being the team’s first State Championship in program history, it is highly recommended and encouraged you attend and stay #OwenStrong.
