Speech and Debate competes in sectionals, results

Speech and Debate team at sectionals

 The Carroll High School speech and debate team competed in a sectional state qualifying speech tournament hosted by Snider High School on February 24. The team received fourth overall with various individuals on the team receiving awards as follows:

Harsimran Panesar: 1st in International Extemporaneous Speaking and 2nd in Impromptu

Keagan Mould: 4th in United States Extemporaneous Speaking and 4th in Impromptu

Isaiah Clark: 6th in Original Performance 

Jackson Busse: 3rd in Informative Speaking

Keagan Mould, Harsimran Panesar, and Isaiah Clark will compete at state speech on March 2nd.

Keagan Mould is a Junior at Carroll High School. He likes to play video games and watch anime in his free time. He happens to own over 75 bouncy balls. He is currently the head captain of Carroll's speech and debate team, and Co-Editor in Chief on this newspaper.
