Seth Jones, Staff Reporter
Seth Ezekiel Jones is a 17 year old Senior at Carroll High School. Seth has 4 siblings, 2 parents, and previously had a cannibalistic gold fish many years ago. He enjoys reading and Theatre, and is in Carroll High’s Studio 415 alongside the Newspaper Club. He has been in numerous plays, such as the most recent ones, Long Joan Silver, Night of the Living Dead, and The Argonuts. His favorite song is Bones by Supergazelle, however he listens to a plethora of genres. His favorite games/pastimes include Hollow Knight (And it’s recent sequel Hollow Knight: Silksong), Dungeons & Dragons, Rain World, and WobbleDogs. His greatest inspiration is his grandfather, Harry Orville Jones III, who is ailed by an abundance of health problems, but continues to push past them and help others despite everything. Harry will regularly aid people in his community to move houses, building things, or to do whatever he can for others. These actions have impacted Seth in a positive way, leading to his grandfather to become his source of inspiration. A memorable memory of his is when he was a young child and he was made to participate in a Christmas show. Seth vividly remembers disliking the director, however does not remember much more about the individual. The show itself was “terrible” and no one participating were able to recite any of their lines and it “completely fell flat”. The silver lining is that being small children, not many participants remembered the show. Seth’s favorite quote is, “WILL YOU SHUT UP ABOUT THAT HAMSTER”, which is a line from a play in which the characters are going through complete chaos and apparently the hamster is of low-priority at the moment. After graduating, Seth plans to study Psychology and become a therapist.
