Going out with a bang means more than you might know
Going out with a bang is what seniors look forward to their last year in high school.
Doing so is difficult when you are behind a screen.
Although, social media and the power it has, has come in handy in these difficult times.
Seniors are able to get recognition through the school and through their parents.
Many parents, like my own, have bought me yard signs saying my name, school, and graduation year.
Even though it sounds so small and simple it mad a difference to me, just having that little sign means a whole lot bigger deal than anyone knows.
Having that walk across stage, that final handshake and smile, and finally moving the tassel over to the left side and having known you made it, will be absent for the time being.
The grad parties too, having friends and family all gather for your accomplishment is a huge deal and not having those when planned or even not at all hurts and we know there isn’t much we can do about it.
There is more to graduation than just having a party, its the feeling that you know you did it, that you know you had just completed twelve years of school and now where do you go?
My way of going out with a bang is sharing my experiences all through out senior year in newspaper.
This has been such an amazing experience and I’m glad to say that I was newspaper.
The class was so rewarding to me to be able to put out my writing and having real people read it and leave comments.
It has been such an outlet and I don’t know what I would’ve done without it.
