Quinn Staller, Staff Reporter
My name is Quinn Staller, and I joined the newspaper because I wanted to push myself out of my comfort zone and be a part of something that can have an impact. My birthday is October 24, 2010. I am told I can be very outgoing, intelligent, and sympathetic. I tend to be good at understanding what people are saying, even if they have a hard time speaking about it. My interests are true crime, Manuela, reading, and many more. A few of my favorite things are sharks, iced caramel coffee, psychology, and poems. I listen to a lot of indie/alt type music, but mainly rap, old school rap like Tupac and Snoop Dogg. I enjoy rainy days with the low rumble of thunder. I have always been interested in being a part of something like the newspaper, but I was never given the opportunity due to it being full. I enjoy debating beliefs and talking and spreading my opinions, though I do understand when not to share. I feel that I’m a good fit for a newspaper because it gives me the opportunity to express my feelings and opinions on topics, as well as educate others. I aspire to be a criminal psychologist or a crime scene investigator. Knowing that there is the possibility of being involved in investigations against criminals sends a rush of adrenaline through my body. Some TV shows I enjoy are 90-day fiancé, Dance Moms, Grey’s Anatomy, and 1000-pound sisters. While watching them, I curl up in my bed, eating dog’s pretzels and drinking Coke Zero. I love Coke Zero. When im not home, im at my friend’s house or driving on back roads with my windows down. I am more typically an introvert and find it hard to engage in conversations, but I push myself to be more involved. A fun fact about me is that I have a pet lizard; her name is Freddy. I express myself through my face; I can’t control my face, but I can control my words. I used to throw shot put and the weighted frisbee thing (idk how to spell it) in track and field. I also babysit. I enjoy connecting with people, no matter their age and no matter how they are perceived. I believe I am an honest person and I am reliable to others.
